Its a great app it alerts you when your show is coming on. Also you can search through your guide on your phone. The reason I have it 4 stars is because your tv has to be connected to the wifi for you to be able to use your phone as a remote.

Ok but not great

I like how it shows you what shows are on and when they come on but I hate how you must have your tv connected to the Internet or the remote will not work.

Love it. Buy it. You will be glad u did.

Worth the cost!

Horrible

I have a brand new smart tv and the newest version of dish, there is no reason why it should not work, but it just wont. It will not connect to my tv.

Works great

There is a piece of equipment to buy, which is inexpensive. It is really small and is great for setting audio/video equipment inside a closet.

Not good

This app works good for my samsung but the setup is different on my iphone with the wifi connectivity. I dont want it to tell me just what shows are coming on i want to use it as a remote. Not a good app fix the bugs.

Glitch

For the people who are giving bad reviews be aside you cant fully control your tv with your phone, its your phone not having the compatibility not the app. When I try to set a reminder for a show, the app force closes. Its very annoying. Especially if I have multiple shows I want to be reminded of. Please fix! Otherwise great app!

STUPID

How can you have it work on Samsung. Not on iPhone? Im not buying pronto. Thought was good when worked for the remote. Now useless.

Does not work

This app does not work. It will not connect to my tv even though everything is connected to my wifi.

Good app, device malfunctions often, terrible customer service

Its unfortunate I have to give at least 1 star in order to write a review. Honestly, even more unfortunate that I have to write it on the remote, but at least youll know what to expect once you buy the hardware. I bought the pronto remote a while ago, and it worked fine in the first few months, as described in the feature details. After the 4th month, the device would no longer turn on my home theatre. Naturally, I contacted customer service, and thats when things got bad. Their customer service replies every 6 days, so you wont hear from them until 6 days after your reply. To top it off, the replies I received from them contained basic questions such as "have you reset your device?" "have you tried manually setting the IR code?". As you can imagine, about 1-2 months easily went by and I still had the issue. Finally I gave up and continued to use the product on my TV, Apple TV and cable box while using the actual remote for my home theatre. In February of 2016 it stopped working completely. I contacted them, and now, June (yes, 4 months) theyre still sending me the same questions and are taking even longer to respond. Im an engineer, so its safe to say Im ok with electronics. The customer experience has been so terrible I am now going out of my way to make sure everyone knows that, if you ever need help with your device, you will have the worst experience while managing to not get your problem solved. The device is a great idea, but if a company makes a product without the customer service to back it up, the product becomes worthless in my opinion. The app itself is not bad, but since you need the hardware to make it fully functional, it will be an unpleasant experience you can easily avoid. Now its up to you. Get it if you want, but youve been warned.

Very easy to use. I no longer use my regular remote as this is so convenient to control my home theater.

So I wanted to try peel because my aunt from Baltimore has shown me it on her Samsung Galaxy 6 (Im from Boston on an iPhone 6) , so boom got the app thinking its universal I can set up my tv manually like how she did on her galaxy with a non-smart tv (that cant connect to wifi) but nah iPhone app aint having it without tryna get me for my money by buying this stupid pronto or buy smart tvs that can connect to wifi . Im over it for sure now I need a nap . Or I must be doing something obviously wrong with yur limited settings.

Not for Apple products

This app work very well with Samsung not Apple wont connect unless device is connected to wifi. Device was connected to wifi but still could not connect to device

Absolutely does not work on iPhone 6s

I have tried multiple times with this app and each time get an error message that none of the IP devices are connected to Wifi - which isnt true. And theres no support to address the issue. Must only be good for androids, unless u have their pronto box.

Frustrated.

Why does the nickname option have to be so stupid?! I can not get the app to set up my tv remote, the roku will set up fine but I cant figure out how to set up the tv.

Doesnt work

It works great on my Samsung Galaxy s5 without pronto, but not on my husbands iPhone 6s of course. Disappointment
